Service Terms

Last updated 16 September 2026

The commercial terms for a managed lead engine. Plain English, no small-print games. These sit alongside our general Terms of Service and cover the money: what you pay us, what you pay Meta, what we guarantee, and, just as plainly, what we do not.

1. What you are engaging us for

You are engaging us to run a lead engine on your behalf: a landing page for one trade, the brand behind it, and the Meta advertising campaigns that feed it. We own all of it, including the ad account. You are not buying the engine, the brand, the domain, the page or the ad account, and none of them transfer to you at any point, during or after this engagement.

An engine is used by one client at a time. While your engagement is live, no other business is put on your engine.

This gives you no exclusive right to an area, a postcode, a suburb or a region. We may run other engines covering the same places. You tell us the area you service so we know which engine to put you on and how to target your campaigns; that is the only purpose it serves.

What is exclusive is the lead. Every lead named to you is delivered to you and to nobody else. It is never resold and never delivered twice.

2. The two payments, and which one is ours

There are two separate payments and only one of them is made to us.

a. Our service fee. A fixed monthly amount, billed to you by us, in advance, through Stripe. It is currently $1,250 + GST per month on the Engine plan, and is agreed in writing on a Custom plan. This fee contains no advertising spend.

b. Your advertising spend. Paid by you directly to Meta Platforms. We give you access to the Meta ad account that runs your engine; you add your own payment card to that account as its payment method; Meta charges that card for your campaigns, at Meta's own prices. We do not receive, hold, invoice, front, discount or mark up this money, and we take no commission or percentage on it. You can see every charge in your own Meta billing.

On the Engine plan you commit to a minimum advertising budget of $50 per day for the duration of each cycle, which is approximately $1,500 over a 30 day cycle. On a Custom plan the committed budget is agreed in writing. Spending above the committed minimum is your choice and does not increase what we guarantee.

If your card is declined or removed, Meta stops delivering your campaigns. We cannot pay for your advertising on your behalf and will not do so.

3. Ad account access, and its limits

The Meta ad account is ours. We grant you access to it for the duration of your engagement, at the narrowest level of access that lets you (a) see every campaign, every dollar of spend and every result, and (b) hold the payment method on the account.

You are not granted campaign edit rights. You agree not to pause, alter, duplicate, restrict or unlink campaigns, budgets, audiences, creatives or the payment method while we are carrying a guarantee on the account, and not to grant access to any third party. A single change to a budget or an audience can undo weeks of optimisation.

On termination or cancellation, you remove your payment card from the ad account and we remove your access. The ad account, its history, its pixel data and its audiences remain ours. Leads already delivered to you remain yours, along with every conversation, quote and job record in your dashboard.

4. What we guarantee, and what happens if we miss it

On the Engine plan, for each 30 day cycle, we guarantee that at least 10 quotes will be sent, totalling at least $100,000 in quoted value, against leads your engine delivered.

If we miss either number, our service fee for that cycle is refunded to you in full. Not pro-rata, not as a credit, not as a free month. You keep every lead, quote and job that cycle produced. This applies to every cycle, not only your first.

For the purpose of this guarantee:

- A quote is a priced quote issued to a named homeowner through the Lead Gen Rentals dashboard, with a total value and a recorded send date.
- Quoted value is the sum of those quotes' totals. A quote counts if it was sent inside the cycle, whether or not the homeowner accepts it.
- Only quotes against leads your engine delivered count. Your own referrals, repeat customers and enquiries from other sources are yours and do not count towards, or against, this guarantee.
- The cycle runs for 30 days from the day your advertising goes live, not from the day you paid. Time spent setting you up is ours, not yours.

The guarantee is conditional on the following, all of which are within your control:

- the committed minimum advertising budget remains funded on your card for the whole cycle;
- you do not pause, edit, restrict or unlink the ad account, its campaigns or its payment method (section 3);
- leads are responded to. The platform sends the first response automatically in your name, so in practice this means not disabling it;
- quotes are sent through the dashboard, which is how they are counted.

If your card declines or Meta suspends billing and delivery stops, the cycle is paused rather than failed. The clock stops, and resumes for the remaining days once delivery restarts. We will not treat a problem you can fix as a failure of the guarantee.

If you breach a condition above in a way that materially affects delivery, the guarantee does not apply to that cycle. We will tell you in writing what the breach was. We will not withhold a remedy without giving you that reason.

On a Custom plan, the guarantee is set out in your scope document. The remedy is the same: miss it and the fee for that cycle is refunded in full.

What is not guaranteed, on any plan: any cost per lead, cost per quote or cost per job; that a quote is accepted; any revenue, profit or other outcome; any number of leads; and anything above the guaranteed figures. Volume and cost move with the advertising auction, the season and market conditions, and nobody controls whether a homeowner answers the phone or says yes.

5. What we commit to

We commit to the things within our control, and only those:

a. Exclusivity. Every lead named to you is delivered to you and to no other business.
b. Named consent. Your business is named on the consent line of every lead delivered to you, and assignment of a person to you is permanent as described in section 6.
c. One client per engine. While your engagement is live, no other business is put on your engine.
d. The engine runs. Your engine and its campaigns run for each period you have paid our fee for, provided your advertising budget is funded.
e. The guarantee. As set out in section 4, including the remedy.

6. How leads are made exclusive: named consent

Before the enquiry form is shown to a visitor, that visitor is assigned to exactly one client and that client's business name is written into the consent line. The homeowner consents to being contacted by that business, by name. The resulting lead is delivered to that business alone and is never resold.

Assignment is per person and it is permanent. Once a person has been assigned to a client, every later visit and every later submission by that person remains bound to the same client, including on our other engines. A person is never reassigned. A homeowner is therefore never contacted by two of our clients about the same enquiry.

Where the same person submits more than once, the first submission is delivered as a lead and later submissions inside 30 days are treated as duplicates of it. They are delivered to the same client or not at all; they are never delivered to anyone else.

Not every lead passes through the branded landing page directly. Some arrive via advertising-platform lead forms (for example, Meta lead ads) that mirror the landing page's fields and consent wording rather than the page itself. Branding, layout and the offer stay identical to what you have seen; only the platform's native form presentation may differ. It does not change assignment, exclusivity or postcode matching.

7. The engine's identity is confidential

We publish the trade, the plan, the fee, the committed advertising budget, the guarantee and whether anything is available. We do not publish the engine's brand name, its domain, or the live page. Those are disclosed to you once your first fee is paid, and to nobody else.

A live engine is a funnel that a paying client depends on. Publishing its address invites junk submissions, malicious reports to the advertising platforms, and outright copying, none of which anti-spam filtering prevents. Withholding it protects your leads as much as ours.

The engine's brand name, domain, page, ad account and campaign details are given to you in confidence for the purpose of this engagement. Please do not publish them or pass them to a third party. That obligation continues after you cancel.

8. Lead quality, and why there are no replacements

We do not operate a lead-replacement or lead-credit scheme. Duds are handled by keeping them out of the system rather than compensating you afterwards. Before a lead is ever delivered, every one of the following runs server-side:

- Every mobile is checked against the live carrier networks. Disconnected numbers, landlines and invented digits are rejected outright and never become a lead.
- Hidden honeypot fields and completion-time checks drop bot and scripted submissions.
- Known disposable and temporary email domains are blocked.
- Persistent device and network fingerprinting with escalating cooldowns stops serial form-fillers.
- The postcode is matched against your service area before delivery. Out-of-area enquiries are not delivered.
- Duplicate phone numbers and email addresses to the same business are blocked. You are never delivered the same homeowner twice.

A submission that fails any of these is not delivered as a lead.

9. Fees, and when they are refunded

Our service fee is billed month to month in advance through Stripe. We do not begin running a period we have not been paid for. Prices are shown exclusive of GST unless stated; GST is added at checkout where applicable.

Our service fee is refundable in exactly one circumstance: we miss the guarantee in section 4. In that case it is refunded in full, to the card that paid it, for the cycle concerned.

Outside that, period fees are non-refundable. There are no refunds for a change of mind, for leads you chose not to call, for leads that did not answer, or for quotes that were not accepted.

Your advertising spend is paid by you to Meta and is not ours to refund under any circumstances, including where we miss the guarantee. Refunds of advertising spend are a matter between you and Meta under Meta's own terms.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including where a service is not supplied at all or is not supplied with due care and skill.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time before your next period begins, yourself, without a phone call. There is no lock-in, no exit fee and no notice period. Cancelling stops the next charge to you from us; it does not refund the period you are already in unless section 9 applies.

Cancelling does not stop your advertising. Meta bills your card, not us, so you must remove your payment card from the ad account to stop your spend. We will remove your access on cancellation, and we will tell you when we do, but until your card is off the account your campaigns are between you and Meta.

On cancellation your engine is released and may be given to another business.

11. Acceptable use

You agree to contact homeowners only about the enquiry they submitted, to honour any request to stop contact, and to comply with the Spam Act, the Do Not Call Register and the Australian Privacy Principles. Misuse of delivered contact details is grounds for immediate termination without refund.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees paid for the affected billing cycle. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
